The Aronia

The Aronia melanocarpa berry grows on shrubs or trees and develops its true colour in the fall. The Native American tribes of North America and Canada trusted the power of this extraordinary fruit.
The Aronia berry is not a berry in its true sense but contains many polyphenols such as OPC or anthocyanins. The aronia pomace that is leftover after pressing contains no tannic acids. It also contains a lot of OPC and anthocyanins.

Preparation:

For 1 litre of tea, add 2-3 teaspoons of Aronia to hot water 70 ° to 95 ° Celsius (do not boil).
Can also be prepared as a punch. Tastes very good with lemon or orange.
