Description
Nattokinase (NK) is a profilbrinolytic serine protease, originally extracted from natto, a traditional Japanese food. Natto is fermented, boiled and incubated with bacillus subtilis natto soybeans.
Nattokinase can contribute to stabilize normal blood clotting values , as well as support the endogenous fibrinolysis (clots and thrombi resolution). Optimal working fibrinolytic and thrombolytic mechanisms are an important prerequisite for the functioning of many body systems such as cardiovascular, heart and brain.
