The organic shiitake is very popular worldwide because of its particularly tasty flavor. Originally, the shiitake comes from Asia.

• Vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B12 are found in the mushroom. In addition, the fungus contains pro-vitamin D (ergosterol), and the minerals potassium, calcium, phosphorus and trace elements iron and zinc.
• 100 g of fresh Lentinula edodes supplies 11% of the required daily vitamin B2 and even 14% of folic acid, a vitamin often neglected. Especially noteworthy is the ergosterol, the precursor of vitamin D2. There are included in the fruiting body 7 of the 8 essential amino acids for humans and Eritadenin.
• These organic medicinal mushrooms are processed in Germany without artificial additives and are also tested for heavy metals and pesticides.
