Psyllium seed husks are neutral in taste and are therefore ideal for use as a thickener when baking or thickening soups, pudding and jam. In combination with a liquid, psyllium seeds swell up to 20 times their volume.

Recommended use:

  • Stir 1-3 teaspoons into 1/4 litres of water, soup, fruit juice or smoothies and allow to stand briefly to swell.
  • Delicious as a complement to yoghurt, muesli or fruit salad.
  • Can also be used as a binding agent when baking, for thickening soups, pudding, marmalade.
