The organic chia seeds by Purely Nutrition provide a natural source of protein and fibre, making them a nutritious addition to your diet. Chia seeds also absorb liquid exceptionally well, which makes them ideal for thickening foods. Recommended use:
Sprinkle directly over salads, yoghurt, granola or muesli, or add to smoothies and juices. When soaked in liquid before consumption, they swell and act as a natural thickener.

Tip:
Chia seeds work wonderfully as an egg substitute in baking. When mixed with water, they form a gel-like consistency.
1 tablespoon of ground chia seeds + 3 tablespoons of water can replace 1 egg.

Note:
Daily intake should not exceed 15 g (about 3 teaspoons). When using chia seeds for baking, they should make up no more than 10% of the total mixture.
