Description

The husks of Indian psyllium (Plantago ovata) are naturally rich in soluble fibre with excellent swelling properties. Psyllium husk can absorb many times its own weight in liquid. Organic Psyllium Husks by zirkulin is neutral in taste and suitable for long-term use.

Recommended intake:
Stir 3 g (approx. 1 slightly heaped teaspoon) into about 200 ml water twice daily, leave to swell for 2 minutes, then drink. This should be followed by 1-2 additional glasses of liquid.

Note:

  • Fibre binds water, so it is important to ensure adequate fluid intake.
  • Leave a gap of around 1 hour between taking this product and taking medicines.
  • Do not take this product if you have pathological narrowing of the oesophagus or the gastrointestinal tract.
