Description

This is an easy way to whip up a super delicious and nutritious Ayurvedic dish in the shortest possible time. Kitchari with Vegetables is an aromatic combination of rice, mung beans and vegetables refined with a variety of Ayurvedic spices.

Instructions:
Add one portion (80 g) to 300 ml of water and bring to the boil. Turn down the heat, cover and simmer at low heat for 20-30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Then season with salt, butter or ghee as desired. Enjoy!

Tip:

  • Also tastes great with added peas or cauliflower.
  • Mango and pineapple give the Kitchari a fruity, exotic note.
