Doppelherz pure Organic Psyllium Husks, 200 g

Doppelherz Organic Psyllium Husks are a plant-based food supplement made from the seed husks of Indian psyllium, Plantago ovata. The product contains no additives and can be easily added to meals, shakes or drinks.

Gentle drying and mechanical separation of the seeds and husks help preserve their natural swelling capacity. As the psyllium husks are neutral in taste, they can be stirred into yoghurt, muesli or drinks without changing the flavour.

The psyllium husks are naturally vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. They are a practical addition to a varied diet and can be easily incorporated into everyday kitchen routines.

Recommended intake:
Stir 1 heaped teaspoon, equivalent to 3 g, into at least 200 ml liquid and drink twice daily. Drink a further 1 to 2 glasses of liquid afterwards.

Notes:

• Ensure plenty of fluid intake when consuming this product, as dietary fibre binds water and may lead to intestinal obstruction if insufficient liquid is consumed.
• Not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
