Acai powder

Acai berries grow on tall palm trees in the Amazon region. Acai is eaten in Brazil at every meal. The youthfulness and joie de vivre of the Brazilians is attributed in part to the effect of the acai berry.

Acai powder has a naturally high content of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron and contains polyphenols, anthocyanins and Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.

Use: mix 1-2 tablespoons in a fruit juice, smoothie, yoghurt, or cereal or use to decorate desserts, cakes, ice creams and cakes.
