Description

The evergreen ivy prefers to grow in forests, floodplain trees, quarries or ruins. It is a member of the Aralia family, very persistent and herbaceous. It occasionally overgrows the ground and can easily overcome obstacles 20 to 30 metres high. After a few years, the ivy becomes lignified and develops from a subshrub to a shrub, to a liana until it finally grows like a tree.
