These vegan vitamin K2 drops contain the biologically active all-trans MK-7 form (K2VITAL®). The liquid formulation makes dosage convenient and is easily absorbed by the body.
- Vitamin K2 comes in several forms, distinguished by their chemical structure—primarily MK-4 and MK-7.
- MK-7 is considered the superior form and exists in two isomers: cis and trans. Only the trans form is effectively utilised by the body, is entirely vegan, and has the longest half-life. Therefore, a high trans content is important. Only products with over 98% trans content can be labelled as "all-trans."
