Description
Alpha lipoic acid, also known as ALA, is a sulphur-containing substance that occurs naturally in many foods. However, modern foods contain very little ALA. ZeinPharma® offers capsules with a ratio of 50 % R- and 50 % S-alpha lipoic acid.
Recommended dosage:
- Take 1 capsule twice daily with sufficient water. Ideally approx. 30 minutes before or at least 2 hours after a meal.
- Alternatively, the capsule can also be opened and the powder mixed with water or juice. Please note, however, that alpha-lipoic acid has a very sour taste and can cause irritation in the mouth.
